Plastic co-extrusion
Plastic co-extrusion allows multiple plastic materials to be combined into a single composite structure, this process simultaneously extrudes two, three, or even four materials to create composite profiles.
By using co-extrusion, a single profile can benefit from the unique characteristics of each material (such as stiffness, flexibility, and rigidity), which cannot be achieved by any single material alone.
Co-extruded profiles and components are perfect for weatherstripping, window glazing beads, door seals, and other applications that need a mix of two or more materials characteristics.
